DB grows its workforce

DB Systems, the global audio-visual company, continues its confident start to 2009 by recruiting two full-time members of staff.

Craig Simmons has joined the business on a permanent basis as a technician. Meanwhile, Christine O’Connor will support Commercial Services Director, Penny Pearson, by handling the day-to-day administration of DB’s sales activities.

Oliver Richardson, DB’s Sales Director, commented: “While this year may be difficult for some contractors, I’m confident that our first class service and reputation of delivering innovative AV and IT solutions for clients will ensure that we have another successful year.

“It’s with this confidence that we have increased our workforce to cope with levels of demand. Craig and Christine will make great additions to the team.”

DB Systems has experienced a busy start to 2009, successfully completing contracts in both the UK and Europe, including at MIPTV in April, which is a major event for the international entertainment content market, as well as at IDEX 2009, held in Abu Dhabi in February. IDEX is one of the largest defence exhibition and conferences in the Middle East and North Africa.
