DB Systems appoints new director

DB Systems (DB), the global audio-visual company, has appointed Penny Pearson as its Commercial Services Director.

Under this newly created role, Penny will oversee a team that will be responsible for the administration of all projects undertaken by DB, including all travel and
accommodation arrangements, as well as managing the 2m equipment inventory.

The importance of this role is emphasised by the fact that she will control the single largest budget within the company. In addition, Penny will, over the next six months, undertake a review of the company’s purchasing procedure with a view to adopting approved supplier status with vendors and labour suppliers in the territories where DB works.

Penny commented: “This is an exciting and challenging new role, which I'm
thoroughly looking forward to. The challenge for a support services company
in the short to medium term will be to secure a good supply chain and to
ensure the cost efficiency of our operation. I'm looking forward to strengthening my team with some key appointments over the next few months."
