DB Systems named as official contractor

DB Systems (DB), the global audio-visual company, has been selected to be one of the official contractors at the Mobile World Congress, in Barcelona in February 2009, for the third year running.

The Mobile World Congress is the world’s largest exhibition for the mobile industry and is expected to draw 60,000 attendees.

At the 2008 Mobile World Congress, DB supplied AV equipment and services on over 100 individual projects mainly for exhibition stand designers but also exhibitions and the organisers of the event.

Post show and as part of the re-tender process, exhibitors were asked for feedback by the show’s organisers as to which of the official contractors they would want to work with in 2009. DB was placed in the top five of their official contractors and were approached to submit a proposal fro the 2009 exhibition.

As a result of their appointment DB are likely to be providing AV and IT solutions for a significant number of exhibition design companies at the 2009 show.

DB has recently experienced a hugely busy period. In September DB, will be the official AV supplier for the Labour Party Conference at the Manchester ICC and Leisure Industry Week at the NEC.
