Top marks for service at 2007 Paris Air Show
The Paris Air Show is always a landmark event for DB
Systems. Not just because the business is dealing with the sheer
logistics of providing networking, IT and AV services to
twenty-five chalets and various stands around the Le Bourget site,
but also as it tests the team's dedication to customer
service.
This year, to make sure service levels remained high, DB Systems
set up dedicated service teams for key clients and core areas of
expertise. This allowed the team of thirty staff who worked from a
fully kitted out on-site facility to offer a personalised service
around the show, whilst being able to provide back-up to each other
as the event unfolded. In effect this means that the team has the
freedom to work as hand-on partners with its designers, stand
builders and the end-users themselves and could focus on details
such as fixing brackets and routing cables efficiently.
"With around ten of the top design teams employing us and big names
such as BAE, Boeing, GE Aviation and Gulfstream relying on us for
their nteworking, IT and AV needs Paris is a tremendous opportunity
for us to prove we are as good as we think we are," said David
Bulley, Managing Director of DB Systems. "The feedback we have had
so far indicates we exceeded service expectations."
One of our largest customers said: "Thank you and the entire team
very much for your hard work at the Paris Air Show this year, and
to congratulate you on a job well done. We are hoping that the
success of our projects at the show will lead to repeat work at
Farnborough in 2008 and other shows in the future. This success, as
you know, is only achieved through the hard work, professionalism
and team work of our company.
