DB Systems (DB) has demonstrated its commitment to supply the very best and most innovative products by investing in the new Apple iPad.
The iPad is now on sale in the UK and DB bought 50 units after receiving an order from one of its clients. DB has also invested in 10 MacMinis and three 17" MacBook Pros to also fulfil projects in June and July.
Oliver Richardson, DB’s Sales Director, said: “The iPads will benefit our various clients, whether they are venues, design agencies or event organisers, as it’s an innovative and interactive product. There’s no one practical application for this technology. It’s very versatile and can be used in many ways, from data collection to games and quizzes.
“Our DBpixelhouse division, which specialises in the provision of state-of-the-art 2D and 3D graphics, animation and interactive content, has already begun working on various ideas for iPad apps that could be used by our clients at shows.”
