DB Systems has developed a revolutionary solution that will help companies save money and reduce their environmental impact when exhibiting at events all around the world.
EcoXpress is a touch-screen based software solution installed on to DB Systems’ hardware, either kiosks or regular PCs and screens. The terminals allow event delegates to browse exhibitors’ literature onscreen, select what is most relevant to them and then email that information to themselves.
At present, delegates who attend events and exhibitions inevitably collect a library of brochures and various forms of corporate literature. Very often these items are lost, damaged, left behind, thrown away or don’t contain the information that the delegate wants.
As a result, exhibitors have no way to guarantee their corporate message, or information about products and services, have been sufficiently promoted. It also results in a lot of wasted paper, as well as the effort and expense of printing, shipping and storage.
However, through the use of EcoXpress, companies will benefit from:
- Financial savings and environmental benefits from not having to print brochures and ship them to trade shows.
- An assurance that customers/potential customers have taken away key information that they specifically want.
- Product specific data capture.
- Contact details allowing post-show sales enquiries.
Oliver Richardson, DB Systems’ sales director, said: “As a service supplier, DB understands that budgets are tight. One of the benefits of EcoXpress is that companies will be able to save thousands of pounds because they will not have to pay for the printing of brochures and shipping costs.
“Many companies will be exhibiting at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona in February 2010 and DB is the official AV supplier for that show. I’m confident that EcoXpress will provide exhibitors with a unique, cost effective and environmentally friendly method to communicate with their customers and potential customers at MWC, as well as other events around the world.”
