DB Systems, the award-winning audio visual rental company, is preparing to show off its newest innovation at this month’s International Confex.
ecoXpress is a revolutionary touchscreen-based system that has been designed to help companies save money and reduce their environmental footprint when exhibiting at events all around the world, as it removes the need for printed brochures and corporate material.
DB will have a stand at International Confex where a demonstration ecoXpress unit will be set up, allowing visitors to experience the system for themselves.
ecoXpress works by allowing those who visit an exhibition stand to browse the exhibitor’s corporate literature on touch screens. They can then choose what information is most relevant to them and email that selected information to a private email address. By using ecoXpress, event delegates will benefit from not having to carry around large volumes of printed material.
Meanwhile, ecoXpress provides exhibitors with the financial and economic benefits of not having to produce and transport printed material to shows with the assurance that their customers/potential customers have taken away key information. The exhibitor keeps product specific data capture, as well as contact details allowing post-show sales enquiries.
Oliver Richardson, DB Systems’ sales director, said: “International Confex is the UK’s premier event for event organisers, which makes it a great setting to show off ecoXpress. I’m sure that once people see and use the demonstration unit they will be impressed by this cost effective and environmentally friendly method of communication.”
