Whilst browsing through some industry news lately we were very excited to read that Event Tech Live – a dedicated show focussed on exhibiting the best and newest pieces of event technology and solutions – will be returning to the Old Truman Brewery in London at the end of this year.
The show will be held on 11 November at the Spitalfields brewery. It returns after the success of last year, which saw numerous high-profile event speakers take to the podium and several exhibitors from across Europe entertain and educate the crowds on their wares. There were also a number of seminars held last year, including talks on how social media was changing the events industry, how to build your own event app and the role technology plays in driving return on investment (ROI) and engagement at exhibitions. Some of the high-profile speakers at the 2014 show included Reggie Aggarwal, the CEO of Cvent, and Julius Solaris, the editor of EventManagerBlog.com.
This year will be much of the same, with visitors able to enjoy live demos of the tech in question, educational seminars and Q&A sessions with industry experts.
Adam Parry, the co-founder of Event Tech Live, stated that there will be a wide range of exhibitors, from those involved with software and services to those specialising in apps and hardware. He also noted that “where possible, exhibitor technology will be integrated into the event to give an end-to-end experience for the attendee and maximise exposure for the exhibitor.”
The floorplan has been altered from last year allowing for the inclusion of more exhibitors and “campfire” sessions for visitors. The show itself is free to attend but for those interested in making their mark there are only 57 exhibitor opportunities.
Are you excited by the return of Event Tech live? Will you be attending? We certainly think it’s a great opportunity for those involved in the exhibitions industry to network and promote their products or services.
