AV supplier, DB Systems, has been awarded a two-year contract with the organiser of the world’s largest mobile industry event, the GSMA Mobile World Congress.

Taking place at Fira Gran Via in Barcelona in February each year, Mobile World Congress brings together the world’s global leaders in mobile technology for four days of networking within a conference and exhibition format. With more than 70,000 visitors over the four days, the event showcases the latest innovative mobile technologies from phones to tablets and applications to accessories and includes a number of innovative and interactive show features demonstrating the cutting-edge of mobile technology. 

The event includes the annual Global Mobile Awards and a wide range of supplementary partner events across the city.

DB Systems will supply audiovisual and IT hire services to the 1,700-plus exhibitors in addition to providing their innovative Sustainability Solution, ecoXpress, to exhibitors. ecoXpress is a digital literature solution which removes the need to print and ship pallet-loads of brochures to each event.
