The Paris Air Show at Le Bourget might take all the glory, but there is still a buisness to run and key customers to work with in the UK. So, whilst there were 30 staff working very long shifts in the build-up and during the Air Show from 18-24 June, DB Systems had a crack team working round the clock from its Tewkesbury HQ to provide networking, IT and AV support to another key event in the UK.

HR Software 2007 is one of the UK's specialist events and DB Systems delivered its expertise to 11 stands and a seminar theatre. So, despite Paris requiring nearly 10km of cabling, 200 PCs and laptops, 300 screens and 45 seamless plasma screens, the team were still able to provide all the resources, spares and service needed to support HR Software.

"Having two events running simultaneously is not unusual for us, but the sheer size of the Paris Air Show requires us to have every aspect of our operation fully accounted for," explains David Bulley, Managing Director of DB Systems. "We had a team working out in Paris as part of the build-up in mid-May, a fully stocked warehouse on site at Le Bourget and we maintained and operated four media briefing centres throughout the event. But because we plan thoroughly we know we can cope with other events at the same time."
