DB Systems is growing. We’re proud to say that we’re taking on more organiser contracts, more exhibitor installations, more bespoke content solutions and more WiFi connectivity than ever before. Why? Because in our industry, people do business with people and we go to great lengths to get the very, very best people.
In the last 6 months alone we’ve recruited an additional 12 staff to help us continue to deliver outstanding service. We wanted to take a moment to introduce you to some of the new faces at DB.
First-up, Graham Croucher joined us in the newly created role of Technical Director. With our rapid growth, it’s Graham’s job to make sure that we continue to deliver the friendly personal service of a small company with the efficiency of a large company. Graham has over 25 years’ experience in the events industry and, having freelanced with us for 6 years, is a welcome face and a safe pair of hands for many of our clients.
Ade Merrick has joined the Warehouse Team and is responsible for prepping our audio equipment before it goes on-site. Ade is our resident roadie – after studying Popular Music Technology he toured the UK as a Sound Technician with a number of rock and metal bands. Ade is a natural born problem solver and a bit of a tech-geek and loves the challenge of stripping equipment down and putting it back together again.
Jordan Clark also joined the Warehouse Team earlier this year, and is responsible for checking equipment back into the Warehouse. Jordan joins us from an events crew hire company and is very excited about getting up to his eyeballs in the latest technology! He has landed firmly on his feet with a 4 week stint in the sunshine at the Farnborough International Airshow where he will help distribute more than 3 arctic lorries of kit to exhibitors and provide on the ground technical support.
Dressed in our rigging blacks and with our save-the-day reputation, one of our clients recently said that going onsite with DB was "like working with the A-team".
We love it when a plan comes together!
