DB Systems’ flying start to 2011 continues after Reed Exhibitions signed up the audiovisual and IT rental company to be one of its official AV contractors for 10 events.
The contract will begin with DB supplying bespoke AV and IT solutions at eight events in 2011, starting with the London Book Fair in April. Other events this year include Offshore Europe (September), International Jewellery London (September) and World Travel Market (November).
Piers Kelly, Operations Director from Reed Exhibitions, said: “As an event organiser, we need an AV company to deliver the highest standard of service that will help exhibitors promote their products and services at shows. Having worked with DB in the past, we know that it will deliver the quality service Reed Exhibitions and our customers demand.”

DB is currently working through a busy first quarter of 2011 with five major contracts in the UK, Europe and Middle East. By the end of March, DB will have shuttled tens of thousands of pounds worth of equipment over several thousand miles in order to supply bespoke solutions and services to BETT and ICE (London), Mobile World Congress (Barcelona), IDEX (Abu Dhabi) and ITB (Berlin).
